5 Bengali words – bedding

My eyes alighted on the accommodation section of my Bengali phrasebook when I was thinking about this week’s 5 Bengali words post.

But as this year’s travel plans extend no further than a week in Cornwall at the moment, I’ll probably put the words below to more everyday use.

Blanket n – কমবল (kōmbōl)

Bed n – বিছানা (bichana)

Mattress n – তোশক (tosōk)

Quilt n – লেপ (lep)

Pillow n – বালিশ (balis)

And a bonus sixth word:

Pillow case n –  বালিশ খোল (balis khol) [khol means cover or case]
