So far I’ve only visited India in December or January, which limits the Bengali words for weather that I need when actually on holiday. In fact, hot, cold and fog would probably cover those needs – often within the space of the same day.

There’s no good reason for my not having written about Supriyo Sen’s website for learning Bengali other than this blog having been a bit underused recently. But with 2017, so far, showing more than usual progress with A Tangle of Wires and my Bengali study it’s a good time to rectify that.
Looking back on my posts from last year I see I had great plans (or, plans, at least) for a programme of increasing the pace of my study of Bengali. But, as with the best-laid plans of mice and men, my study schedule went awry, though not entirely.
